Fehr, 32, totaled four points (3-1=4) and a plus-6 rating in 18 games with Toronto and San Jose during the 2017-18 season. He also tallied two points (1-1=2) and six penalty minutes (PIM) in 10 Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Sharks. San Jose acquired the 6-foot-4, 208-pound native of Winkler, Man., from Toronto on Feb. 20, 2018. He also recorded 28 points (17-11=28) and 33 PIM in 34 games with the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL) last season.
Fehr has tallied 206 points (106-100=206), a plus-57 rating and 187 PIM in 580 career NHL games in parts of 13 NHL seasons with Washington (2005-11, 2012-15), Winnipeg (2011-12), Pittsburgh (2015-17), Toronto (2016-18) and San Jose (2017-18). He owns 12 points (9-3=12) and 24 PIM in 70 career Stanley Cup Playoff games with Washington (2007-15), Pittsburgh (2015-16) and San Jose (2017-18). Fehr won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2015-16 and ranked third in the NHL with four shorthanded goals (SHG) and became the first player in NHL history to score a SHG in each of his first two games with a team on Oct. 31 and Nov. 4, 2015.
